Spanish Language Video
I had a hard time not putting this in with the DVD or news section, but there’s a lot of video that I couldn’t really classify in either of those categories. So, this is going to be the catchall for links to Spanish language television networks with online video content, online video sites, anything with spanish language content in video form. (That can’t be pigeonholed as a DVD or news.)
The first thing I have to list here is Destinos…
Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish – is a 52 episode telenovela (soap opera.) It was written with the person learning Spanish in mind. There are reviews in most each episode of some of what was learned. You may have seen this series on your PBS station from time to time, or in school. It is a good series. They do say that you shouldn’t be concerned if you don’t follow each and every word in the episodes. The video is hosted at learner.org (Yes, you can watch it online – I think you may need to do a free registration now to watch.)
