Spanish Language Newspapers in the United States

Given the number of Spanish speaking immigrants as well as in the United States there are many Spanish language newspapers available in the United States. So, if you’re studying Spanish it could be useful or interesting to you to subscribe or pick up one if there is one available in your local community.

Of course many of these newspapers in the United States and Puerto Rico are available online. For my taste though I do like having a small newspaper to carry with me and read away from the computer. Many of these papers with make some content available online or all of their content. I’ll be linking directly to the sites that I can. I’ll organize these newspapers by state and try to note whether it’s a daily, weekly or monthly publication.

First, here are the Spanish language newspapers that are either regional, national or based out of Washington, DC.

http://www.lanacionusa.com/ La Nacion USA – based out of Washington, DC and distributed through several states. Daily publication. Web address seems to have expired, I haven’t found a new location for them yet.

Wall Street Journal in Spanish – the traditional business oriented news that you expect from the WSJ, in Spanish.
