Cherokee Language Audio

The only substantial Cherokee language audio I know of currently online is in the following podcast (from the Cherokee Nation. This program includes English language content, but there are songs in Cherokee as well.

This is an audio narrated slideshow (mostly in English) about Cherokee language education efforts and fluency among the native Cherokee in North Carolina. There are some Cherokee language snippets included.

This page at Lulu.com includes a Cherokee language audio course that can be downloaded. 6 of the lessons can be downloaded for $10 here. There are other parts available through the first link.

Podcast of stories from the Cherokee – much of it is in English, some in Cherokee or Tsalagi. (Most of what I heard was in English.)

This Giduwa Yoahoo Group is focused on Cherokee language study with an emphasis placed on the Eastern dialect (known as the Giduwa dialect). There are audio files available there.
